Kids are dying from the heat, but you know what lets accelerate the issues that cause that because it's convenient for some people to not have to write an email themselves

We’re currently experiencing the hottest weather on record, and the world’s about to enter a massive recession, but yeah sure, let’s have a nuanced discussion about your use of AI

Lol, the absolute state of this! "Only half of our top leadership is a Nazi"

Mullvad is a political company fighting for free speech, free information and privacy, with two equal co-founders, co-owners and co-CEOs who fundamentally disagree on many issues. Daniel's donation to a political party is private and not part of Mullvad's mission. We protect the right to express and access views we disagree with. We welcome anyone sharing these core values, whatever their other opinions. We are happy to refund others who don't, where we can.

If you think about it, search is such a hugely important part of using the web that it really should be a public service. Fuck Google, there should be publicly funded search engines, ad free and available to all.

And I mean it when I say a duty. Google are actively trying to destroy the web as it exists and you owe them nothing. Treat Chrome like when we were trying to get people off IE8 and tell them to not use it because you don’t support Google’s bullshit
I discovered that The Very Good Biscuit Shop we go to has chocolate coated freeze dried raspberries and holy shit they're good!
Imagine Malteasers except the crunchy part on the inside is a raspberry
My demo is now live! https://store.steampowered.com/app/3314190/Oh_No_UFO/
We just watched the Gene Kelly Muppets episode and then I showed the 5 year old singing in the rain and it blew his mind. He wants to be a dancer now
Hey! I made a trailer for my demo that'll be going live in a few days!
You can watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjXxGYMX5M8

There's also a catch 22 here. Optimising for Chrome users means more users will use Chrome. If you all start to treat Chrome as a second class citizen and the experience is better elsewhere Chrome users will slowly start to shift away. Again, fuck Google, optimise for Firefox
The new version of my demo is live, and it's the first build I'm pretty happy with. You can try it here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4507780/Oh_No_UFO_Open_World_Demo/

@davey_cakes@mastodon.ie and like that total LLM-lobotomy happened to them incredibly fast, is it even 6 months since that version of Claude they all now outsource all their thinking to came out?
I shared the war crime N64 post and one person actually replied that it was unfair to Anduril because they hadn’t committed a war crime yet
Here's another fucking great one from @shinmera@mastodon.tymoon.eu that she made in her own Lisp based game engine, Trial. It's a cool open world 2D platformer and is currently 70% off!

I'm making fried chicken and cauliflower (my partner bought a cauliflower so I got the hint) and I have the stuff left to make fried things. As always there's extra liquid and powder so I'm gonna see if hallumi works

Stop using Chrome!!
Urgh, apparently I need a trailer to release a demo on Steam. Currently downloading Final Cut Pro after installing Davinci Resolve and not being able to read anything in their low contrast UI..
Guess I get to play Pokopia for an hour!

@markdennehy@mastodon.ie Lol, yeah that's doing the rounds in my game dev groups atm. Tim Sweeny is so desparate to move to the next level of richness that he's willing to half ass anything and everything to get there. He must be extra special dumb to not have failed up that high yet

@markdennehy@mastodon.ie @davey_cakes@mastodon.ie even if you don’t allow slop into your own projects it’s coming in through your dependencies. There’s gonna be so many breaches over the next few years

@paulhebert in Puzzmo they have a button on the completion screen that says “Play Archive” that brings you straight to the latest incomplete puzzle. It works really well

I ran these on my work projects and 2 things that stood out is Axios and Guzzle are both accepting vibe coded PRs. That definitely won't be a problem in the future..

@GamesMissed@mastodon.social it’s a 4. But if you run Mame 0.78-plus everything is quite good on a 3 too I think. The only game I’ve seen slow down on is Golden Axe: Revenge of the Death Adder, which is a bummer as I was looking forward to playing it. The next thing I wanna do is get a couple of those Sinden light guns for Point Blank

@YinYinFalcon@mastodon.online I've been enjoying the amount of noise the animals make, but maybe I don't need so much now I have ambient music.
I need to fiddle with the camera controls a bit, yeah, I want a bit of lerping on the roation too. I lost some of that when I upgraded to Cinemachine 3 and I haven't had time to look at it yet.
I saw the fps dip on the explosions too, I think I just need to increase the pool for the effect.

Also, you can probably write similar for whatever package manager you're using. All these do is grab the GitHub repo details for each dependency, call the GitHub API and get the last 100 commits, then look in the commit messages for the Claude co-author.
It wont give you a definitive list either, because I doubt all the sloperators are adding the co-author to their commits.
