Bargains! It's last knockings at Denby pottery (UK online outlet) since the firm went bust. We've just topped up our own set at 80% discount.
It's in Derbyshire, not the Potteries which all ended earlier. (Full disclosure. One grandad of mine was a scolloper at Aynsley. And, apparently, that's still valid in C21st Scrabble.)

It's a shocker to hear that "average" US-ians are now paying $767 monthly for a loan on a new car, or $537 monthly for a used car. Average term is about 5 years. As a category in the USA it's become second to house mortgage debt.
That's Experian data. What's the picture for UK/EU??

#WWI #WW1 Help please. Which are the best books from France?
I'm a casual reader around society and politics, so I particularly liked that British Army doctor's book. [edit needed obvs] What's available in translation into English that gives a sense of individuals and/or their families going through military service?
Also, I've also only read one German WW1 book. That one. So recommendations are equally welcome for Germany or anywhere that might fit the spec.

I admitted today, over a meal at home with wine, that my personal recollection of the Biblical Ten Commandments had faded.
First to my mind were some of the negatives - killing, adultery, and coveting thy neighbour's ass.

Hm. Cost of any annual service and even an annual set of tyres is dwarfed by $767 monthly. The international equation with gas prices might be more interesting.
But still $767 monthly for a depreciating car is a shocking number for me as an oldish person. I paid less for a London house mortgage and got something back from that appreciating asset. @vfrmedia@social.tchncs.de @cmsdengl@mas.to
