@anthropy@mastodon.derg.nz put your 12v charger on the car overnight evedy six months: the leaf 12v charge algorithm is garbage and the battery does sulphate prematurely. I got 9 years out of the last 12v batt in our leaf by doing that.

@gigabecquerel Brushes a little way up the belt means that the lower roller can be conductive and grounded - No isolated supply needed for the motor then. IIRC the charge sprayer runs at around 5kV, will ask.
