Hi, Yet another new instance. This allows up to 10,000 characters, allows politics and is LGBT+ friendly. I like politics from around the world (but hate most politicians), activisim, music, and so many other things that I'll contribute to.

This got deleted by Amnesty UK after threats from TERFF lawfare. Somebody saved it so you can still read it though.

This is why Newsom should never be the Democratic candidate for next President. He'd probably be more comfortable with MAGAs.

Transphobes are trying to take the Greens to court because they were not allowed a stall at conference. GLP is defending them.

Local Tesco seems to have a problem with warm weather. Their fridges always stop working. On Friday, I estiate 90% were out of order. Iceland, round the corner, has no such problems.

@sundogplanets@mastodon.social We need to expand airspace to 2,500 miles into space. If in the airspace without permission, your space junk gets blown into a million pieces. So much space junk up there now, it won't matter if the small bits destroy them.

@PhilipCJames@mas.to @wood5y@mastodonapp.uk @UkeleleEric@mstdn.social @syulang@climatejustice.social I used to use the train all the time. But when First ran the alternative service fom Rochdael via Manchester Victoria to London, apart from Euston, they weren't allowed to use any stops used by virgin (train company at the time). It joined with Liverpool to London train at Newton le Willows..
First time I went to London on my own as an adult, it cost £10.50 cheap day return, and I could have a day on the Isle of Wight for £13.50 return from Manchester, using night trains to sleep on.

From reporting at the count
Off to McDonald's
Our Local Democracy Reporter Declan Carey says a few Labour councillors have just nipped out of Co-op Live, and headed to the nearby McDonald's.
He says it's a good sign that a result might be further off than we think.
It's believed that the count in Wigan is holding things up.
That being the case, I'm just off to do a quick top up shops, back in 20-30 mins.

@wood5y@mastodonapp.uk I think that applies to councillors who must declare an interest and take no further part in a debate. MPs declare an interest and ARE allowed to continue in the debate.
