That feeling when you block an account,

not because the account posts anything objectionable (and in fact their posts seem friendly/nice/informative)

but because the account user name is a cancer-causing substance that causes a lot of cancer in your country, and so seeing the account user name is going to make you very anxious every time.

@michcampbell@fediscience.org Yes, as a woman who uses a powerwheelchair, I get called "difficult" when I politely ask drivers to move their parked car/truck off the footpath so that I can get past. "Difficult" means "how dare you, a woman, think that you have rights if those rights mean inconveniencing me, a man".

Requests for product reviews are getting out of hand:

I ordered a product,

and the company had only just put it in the mail that morning

when they sent me an email saying

"So, what did you think of your product? Write us a review!"

Dude, calm down!

I won't even get it for another 7 days or so!

@DMakarios@theres.life Apparently people choose to illegally buy hissing cockroaches to feed pet snakes/pet lizards as it is a little bit cheaper than other insect food sources - which is so stupid, because the cost to the Australian agriculture industry if they got out would be in millions of dollars or even billions of dollars. Bathurst snake catcher Stefanie Lesser said she had seen the illegal invertebrates being sold online as reptile food. "People do have them because they are big, they're sort of like the size of your palm of your hand," she said.
