In fact, the "root" of root beer comes from it being made with sarsaparilla root and sassafras root (it is no longer made with sassafras root after it was discovered that sassafras root is carcinogenic) sarsaparilla is basically root beer to the extreme, with less other stuff added (root beer usually has some amount of anise, wintergreen, and vanilla, among other things; sarsaparilla has less of these) -F

@rkniner@yiff.life halogen lights in fixtures like that feels, to me, one step removed from having xenon arc lamps for lighting your bedroom it's just not really the thing halogen lamps are *for* i guess they can get a higher color temperature than other incandescents though, maybe that's why -F

@Kyresti@plush.city That's just one of the downsides of breadboards you can do what ben eater does for his videos, that might help organization, but you need to be pretty good at cutting and bending wire to exact lengths. there used to be tools you could get for this... ah, here, this might be of interest: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/lead-formers/ i'm sure there are easier ways to get these than mcmaster. they can probably be 3d printed to suitable tolerance -F
