Me: You know, I have an hour left in the day, what's a nice easy story I could complete in that? Oh, how about this old tech-debt one, where we used to have two roles that would get instruction handbooks assigned to them, and now we only have the one role? How hard could removing the no-longer-supported role from this upload manager be?
Previous Developer: [ Has somehow left behind a fractal labyrinth of every bad coding pattern so intense that the digital minotaur is at the _entrance_, shrugging because he hasn't the faintest how to even get into this mess. ]
You see, it's easy to remember that a gallon weighs about eight and a third pounds, because a gallon is equal to four quarts (_quart_ers of a gallon), and a quart is about five percent smaller than a liter (liters were designed to be close to a volume that was itself about a quart), and a liter of water is a kilogram of mass, and one kilogram weighs 2.2 pounds, and so from that we know a gallon of water has to be about five percent (0.44) less than 8.8 pounds, therefore close to 8.36 pounds.
Anyway no, I've never had reason to think I wasn't basically neurotypical, why do you ask?

Well _that_ was an unpleasantly fascist episode of Automan.
