We're likely to reverse the wyvern TF as the subject has damaged numerous pieces of equipment around the laboratory with their wings and tail while we bring them back for testing, and refuses to make anything but animal noises whenever any kind of uncomfortable conversation or question is raised. On top we have gotten reports that the subject has been deliberately and repeatedly belligerent against the local airport's air traffic controllers

I've often said that Python is a pure scripting language that people inexplicably use for "real programs" due to e.g. them absolutely refusing to resolve the build system or packaging situation and it being basically impossible to have a deterministic state without having an entire separate copy of Python for every program.
But honestly, it's shocking that it is also almost objectively impossible to use for normal scripting tasks too, because they make massive breaking changes every single minor release and no person is going to put every single individual script into a separate venv that you have to activate before running it
Should I try Voices of the Void? I think I've considered it a while ago but decided to wait since the website is plastered about it still being in alpha and I was like "hmm, maybe I should wait for it to be a bit more developed just for a Complete Experience"

Minecraft 1.6 and 1.7 did have some completely incongruous mods that made zero sense in the game. But at least they had any level of imagination and willingness to just add useless bullshit for pure fun; instead of 100% of them being "turn Minecraft into Factorio as blandly as possible"
So I want to make a resource pack to change the biome tint in Minecraft, does anyone know of a decent way to generate a three-way gradient in a triangle like this? (other than "write code to generate it manually" which is otherwise what I'm gonna be stuck doing).
Surprisingly there's no existing generator for it, every resource pack author just says to use Optifine/Polytone which offer much easier to work with color maps instead of needing to deal with this, but I'd like to not have a hard dependency on a mod since this resource pack is so simple otherwise

@delilah@derg.social Objectively false, just encountered it with stuff (with little or no external dependencies) written with 3.12 failing to run on 3.13, and stuff written with 3.13 failing to run on 3.14 (and stuff written right when 3.14 came out failing to run on 3.14.5/3.14.6, but maybe that was just a third-party library being terrible or something)
