@kde@floss.social @MaddieM4@raphus.social @arthsmn@organica.social @kde@floss.social Since most of the community (from what I've seen, I might be in a echo bubble/chamber) is strongly against AI, why not introduce a policy that reflects the sentiment of the community at large? Since it is meant to be a draft, something to stop the current gap in the rules, you can make it more restrictive and if need be, gradually roll back whatever community feels is okay. You are not a tech corp that needs to "move fast and break things". You are currently in a slight PR disaster. True, there is a massive amount of hate, not criticism, but that shows how strong the community feels and reacts to this topic.

I saw Ice cream "designed by AI" with ai-made art. I saw so much AI merchandise it's incredible how tone-deaf regular people are. Just 2 days ago I took down AI-made posters for a event in a club with real fucking musicians. It still had the Gemini star on it.

If you're running fabric, than ledger exists. Forge? Sponge on forge with a plugin. You get in-game cli and stuff. I get using git as a backup system though, in case of corruption or failure.
