I know how to code.
I know how to make Pixel Art and 3D.
I know how to fly FPV racing quads.
I have a server in the apartment.
I'm still using floppies.
I'm obsessed with making games in 8-bit (Game Boy Color) and 16-bit assembly (MS-DOS).
I want to get back to learning/mastering ZIG but Assembly is somehow hook me into coding more. I feel more connected to the computer. Nothing between me and the CPU.
Once you hit bare-meal it's hard to get back :)
BTW: I'm slowly adapting to Vim mode in Zed.
ZIG UEFI test application works on bare-metal!
Here some terminal x86 + CRT monitor. Run from an USB pendrive. Mouse support.
BOOTIA32.EFI 300KB

I'm back to work on audio part of the P1Xel Tool.
This also means that I will update music and sfx in the game :)
Top UI updated. Some bugs squashed.
Mouse driver still in-progress.
You just need to know few instructions to make a game in assembly :)
And we got like jump in 5 variants (less than, grater, equal, etc.)
Fun fact: I use INC and DEC almost the same amount of time.
Evening drawing in dpaint.js
Floppy image works at https://copy.sh/v86/
As if I do not have enough hobbies and free time... let's add one more :)
For my 41 birthday (this month) I ordered Tecsun PL-330 shortwave radio.
This will become an antenna. Radio should arrive soon after the Easter Holidays.
Full mouse 🐁 support implemented!

Incredible work by César Sepúlveda from Chile!
Export from P1Xel Tool to my assembly engine works!
Now tim eto tweak the new id's and rework UI.
Yesterday I spend a day trying to hack this WYSE WT3235LE terminal.
It has a cool GEODE GX1 CPU!
I was able to push some binary to the system. One version even did a beep via pc speaker!
There is so little information on the internet about it that it is a lot of try-and-error.
Will be back to this in the future.
update to my UEFI engine.
I added game of life rules that are affected by terrain and age of the cell.
Video in 🧵
State of UEFI engine project. Drawing tiles.
For fullHD those are tiny! This is 40" monitor.
I will need to update my drawing tool for supporting 32x32 sprites and draw a new dedicated tileset for this side-project. I always wanted to make a tower defense game but for some reason never did one.
@tripplehelix@tech.lgbt me too :( It's super cool to have a PC in a pocket. But for my needs this one is more than enough :)
