There are many good books and resources on Z80 Assembly but this programming tutorial by Patai Gergely is valuable for a couple of reasons. Gergely last worked on this in 2004 when people still cared about good work. And it covers material beyond the basics such as simple data structures and programming techniques. The tutorial is available as a website: https://tutorials.eeems.ca/Z80ASM/index.htm and a single PDF that includes all the pages on the website: https://element.zxfiles.net/DOCS/ASM/Z80ASMBL.PDF #z80 #assembly

Hi everyone, it's time for an #introduction on this instance. 👋 I'm Lu (he/him), I live in Leipzig, Germany and you might know me from my other account (@lu_leipzig@troet.cafe). I like to move slow, fix things, hand-write assembly and play synths. On this account, I'll toot about my electronics projects, criticism of AI and the state of FOSS. I might also participate in some AuDHD-related discussions. #electronics #synth #synthesizer #assembly #ActuallyAuDHD

I love it when you can sort of finally congeal scattered projects together into something useful. This is a serverless, single-page x86 disassembler, that runs my marty_dasm disassembly library as wasm in your browser. It may be the only disassembler with specific, CPU-faithful architecture modes. You want to select 8088 and disassemble 0F as POP CS? Go for it. #retrocomputing #assembly #emulation

That was fun. Lego for adults. Took about half a day to assemble the head, much of that hauling it back out of the back of the barn to turn it around and getting it out of the steel crate it came in and onto this pallet. That's the sawmill head assembled. The tracks will have to wait as any good weather will mean work on the house foundation instead. Looks good and apart from one nut having falling out of a broken bag and a few minor documentation niggles the thing is pretty impressive so far. Probably will be a while before the first cut as the house renovation takes priority. This is what those two laid down concrete power pylons were for, in case it wasn't obvious. #Homestead #Sawmill #Bandsaw #DIY #WoodlandMills #Assembly
