Eines der Probleme das wir uns hier im Netz unter anderem aufgehalst haben sind Gemeinplaetze die sich zu Totschlagsargumenten verselbststaendigt haben die von einigen die ueberall nur Naegel sehen wie Haemmer benutzt werden. Gerade im letzten LNP (541) wurde einige Dinge erwaehnt und besprochen die just mit Perspektiven und Zusammenhaengen im Bereich Geld, Macht, Tauschmittel, Weltpolitik und so weiter und so fort zu tun haben, und die einfach nicht mal so eben unter den Teppich gekehrt werden koennen. Das hat nichts mit whataboutism zu tun.

btw Habe den Artikel nicht gelesen, denke die Umstaende sind allgemein bekannt, hoffe aber mal das neben den kriminellen Transaktion auch die nicht kriminellen beziffert werden damit das gesamte Panorama deutlich wird. Compare to the early days of Delta Chat where nothing was "safe" since it only relied on plain text emails to my knowledge.

My understanding (and experience) was specifically that delatChat was from the get go E2EE.

In a way, with E2EE you theoretically don't have to trust relays that only pass around encrypted messages.

For me that is the realm of metaData, who is communicatin with whom. Ed Snowden said that was the main interest not the details of the messages. In days of AI that part of the chessboard changed a bit but not to much.

Even "Go to honeypot.xyz is just more data. (in a day and age where pagers explode in peoples hands)

Auf die schnelle habe ich nichts über free speech gefunden, schwer zu sagen was der Link soll, aber es gibt da bestimmt noch Tonnen von Links im Netz. Wikipedia ist auch sehr beliebt!

Der Gesamteindruck der Seite ist das sie doch glatt in wenigen Grundsätzen Prinzipien für trillionen von Geschäftsmodellen festlegen will, Geschäftsmodelle die es btw erst gar nicht geben sollte. Es wurden scheinbar ganz spezifisch Modelle wie die von Amazon Warenverkauf bedacht.

Was sich am ehesten auf den Fall von Herrn Quaschning beziehen könnte wären: allow their business users to promote their offer and conclude contracts with their customers outside the gatekeeper’s platform.

• Ist er ein buiseness user?
• Besitzt Herr Quaschning eine offer und concluded er contracts? treat services and products offered by the gatekeeper itself more favourably
• wahrscheinlich nicht der Fall prevent consumers from linking up to businesses outside their platforms
• Der Satz hört sich noch am ehesten nach was an. Aber ist die hier behandelte Plattform überhaupt ein gatekeeper im dem Bereich der beabsichtigten businesses?
• Ist mastodon ein business, oder keept es uns nur busy? So, das war's dann aber erst auch mal für mich hier. Hab auch noch echte, wichtige Dinge mit meiner Lebenszeit vor. Um genau zu sein sind für mich alle diese Gatekeeper nicht mehr als Kriminelle und der Versuch sie zu regulieren ein Armutszeugnis für eine zivilisierte Gesellschaft. Und wenn produktive, wichtige Figuren wie ein Herr @VQuaschning@mastodon.green an seiner Uni keine dezentrale Option für diesen ganzen asozialen Webschwachsinn hat und sich jene Option auch nicht selber für sich aufgesetzt hat, dann riecht vieles faul im Reiche Neuland Dänemark.
