i was like "damn im really hungry i should get a snack" and i went to the student lounge to print some hw and there was just a huge pile of free snickers on the table lol
my 2026 new years resolutions were to get a septum piercing, and get more tattoos (hopefully, find an artist/get the process started for my nausicaä sleeve).
basically i think the idea was, now that ive been on T long enough that dysphoria isnt completely alienating me from my body, i can actually make it Mine in other ways too
bf got a random assortment of letter magnets for his van and this was what we came up with using all of them

i try not to end up in positions where i have to explain mastodon to people. but occasionally i do. and i do usually say, "well, it's.. it's like email." unfortunately that they cannot possibly understand why it is making me do a pained laugh to say that sentence out loud

god all my sketches for life drawing so far have been so ass but i guess that's what im in the class for
the other day i was walking through a cemetery with my mom and a doe was out and about with 4 fawns
one of the fawns was a little further away and they were doing (i assume) a call and response to keep track of each other
so we'd hear the main group go "MEEP!" and the fawn on its own go "meep!" back and forth for a bit while they all just kinda grazed nonchalantly
extremely cute
the walk to and from school was unpleasantly rainy, but on the bright side it meant the snails were out and about

@Willow@chaosfem.tw 3 years on T. tbhh. the Biggest thing for me is that i Love how my voice feels inside my throat/mouth now. it feels so nice to just, talk??
like everything else, also cool. i don't know that ive had very many psychological reactions.. it has made me a bit hornier and i like having facial hair and i like that strangers are more likely to gender me correctly (though it'll never be 100%). i feel much more attractive in general which is nice.
im comfortable enough in my own body now that im making presentation decisions based on what I Want, rather than how i think others will see me. i have long pink hair now! i wear dresses again! and still feel comfortable in my gender (largely because. beard. lol)
but my Favorite effect is how it changed my voice 💞
i went out of my way to get classmates' contact info this semester in an effort to Be Social Make Friends and it made me feel like a luddite cuz they'd all be like yeah do you have Instagram Snapchat Twitter etc etc like. no.. just phone number i guess... 😭
in hindsight the pymatuning spillway isn't like a fun little road trip pitstop it's like. body horror carp. what's up with that
today when i got carded the lady looked at my id and said "ohh, you're still yooung!" which made me feel very old suddenly, somehow
SEMESTER OVER 
is like ~2 years of nearly daily wear a standard life expectancy from a shoe..?? this pair isn't quite ready to retire yet but they're starting to show signs and i really hoped theyd last longer tbh

when someone finds out im an artist (ie from my nametag at work having my title "art educator" on it, etc), they always are like "oh cool! what medium?"
and i always answer, like, "oh it used to be digital art but im more of a jack of all trades anymore," which is approximately the truth. but i don't know what the Actual answer would be. maybe "i'm still figuring that out" is my Actual answer
