Meet Civette, the first release of Tainome Fonts! It's a pixel-perfect font that somehow matches European renaissance influences with the particular aesthetic of the early personal computer revolution. You can obtain Civette now through: https://tainome.itch.io/civette-font Cheers!

Show me a moth that looks like it was designed by an Acidgraphix firebrand in 2019, high on Blender and Photoshop. Carriola witti (stolen from artifacts-and-arthropods). #entomology #acidGraphix #graphicDesign #moth #polilla #bicho #transparente #chulísimo #aesthetics

A cool little guide to Unicode characters that I found (now I want to make a font that has them all):

Oyez, oyez !

The more I learn about Procreate, the more I wonder at the sheer complexity of this app. I hope AI generation options never get added to it. #procreate #drawing #app #ipad

#métro #paris #otherworlds #videogame #fantasy #imagination #underground

I came to this video for the decoding of current trends, I stayed for the perceptive analysis of the transformations of Chinese culture in the days of bite-sized internet content.

Looking at fonts while you design type. It's a trip. A bit like listening to music while composing. #typeDesign #music #trip

This morning, I took Flora margarine with a pinch of marmite and a pinch of wasabi (the real stuff, not horseradish with green dye) on toast. Would take it again :) #toast #food #breakfast

In type design, as well as in other domains, sometimes the only way to advance is to scrap out the work and return to the initial premise with a fresh perspective. #typedesign #methodology #startAgain #workInProgress #working

I shall make a music mix of pieces from different time periods which ebb and flow like gentle waves on the shore; a jo-ha-kyu of music. #project #wish #music #mix

"AI" image-generation software has led to an explosion of iconicity in certain domains: companies who couldn't (or didn't want) to hire a professional illustrator now sport heaps of hyper-detailed images on their social media accounts and storefronts. For example: food services (up to a certain degree). #observation #iconicity #image #generation #semiotics #company #urbanLandscape
