Was richtig fies war: In der Kurrent wurde oft gelehrt, den Überstrich auf das „u“ zu setzen, um es vom „n“ zu unterscheiden. Dann einen Haufen „n̅“ in Druckwerken zu haben, hat da sicher nicht geholfen.
