#LifetimePlaylist 1975

Here's my top picks for 1975. I even got to include some Zamrock!

1. Dwight Twilley Band - I'm On Fire
2. Rainbow - Man on the Silver Mountain
3. Witch - Lazy Bones
4. Led Zeppelin - Trampled Under Foot

I've even made a playlist of all of them, cuz why not?

I posit that app icons serve 2 purposes.

1. Ideally, to convey some aspect of what the app does.

2. To provide a consistent visual for the user to make it easy to find the app on a crowded field of icons.

So, having said that, WHY THE FUCK do companies keep changing the icons of their core apps?? (Looking your way Google)

Are you purposefully trying to hide your products from me and make me hunt for them? 😡

#TuneTuesday #UnexpectedWhiplash

I've talked about this before, and I'm not sure I'd call it "whiplash" but this song feels like a couple songs stitched together.

Picked up some classics today at #SolStaRecords today. #Vinyl #minneapolis #StLouisPark #Records

this is exactly the sort of heavy wall of distortion that I needed today.

Woke up with Blue Cheer's cover of “Summertime Blues" stuck in my head.

Went down a rabbit hole of late 60s #psychedelia / #HeavyBlues / #ProtoMetal stuff.

Got reminded of a lot of bands I'd forgotten about.

- The Blues Magoos
- Blue Cheer
- Nazz
- MC5
- The Amboy Dukes
- Count Five
- Twentieth Century Zoo

Maybe I'll do a #MyMisspentYouth podcast playlist mix of this stuff at some point. I don't think I've done a specific episode dedicated to solely to 60s psychedelic #music just yet. (though looks like ep 14 was about 50/50 mix) 🤔

@APBBlue@thepit.social Chat, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar... they all just changed. Some more than others, but they all changed. And not for the better.

Ah, once again RingCentral RingCX has enabled me to engage in my favorite hobby of hating admin #UX interfaces.

I have angered the owner of the hashtags. As my repentance, I hereby delete my offensive post and replace it with an image of Mr. Astley.
