@Artemis personally, I found it to be pretty overwhelming and crowded, and I’ve been in infosec for 10+ years and have been to a lot of cons. I think it comes down to your personality a bit though. If you are willing to get super involved and sweat out the crowds then u might get a lot out of #defcon. I think it was worth going once to see what it was all about but I wouldn’t go for the training or talks or anything. Mostly to network and hang out with industry friends.
