@whitneymcn@mastodon.xyz @dramypsyd@ohai.social Yes, like my first cat. A stray and totally black, but assistant and vet turned white everytime I entered. Loved her!

@sarahtaber@mastodon.online Wonderful! I will have to find seeds for these next year. I grow Italian zucchini, and those aren't wet either, but these look so cute!

DOEN!
Je ziet er geweldig uit!

@mlanger@mastodon.world mmmm Heating all this and considering your age and sex I wouldn't be surprised if they will tell you it is osteoarthritis...

@EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu Are you aware that in the City of #bikes (#Amsterdam) #cycling is becoming increasingly dangerous in particular for the elderly so that many of them have stopped cycling (with regret)? The reason: the E bikes which are to powerful (250W) and function as moped. They are defined at the European level so it is up to you to define a new low power e bike (max 100W) which could be safely used as a bike. Please, do something!

@colinpurrington@flipping.rocks Cut of most of the two pins on the front side and you can even see the whole screen!

@colinpurrington@flipping.rocks My phone is permanently connected to my cochlear implant, so I hadn't realized you might just be listening!

@Eetschrijver I suppose you have the luxury to charge your car at your house? Here in #Amsterdam infrastructure for electric cars runs far behind and the network in the #Netherlands has serious capacity problems. The individual choice isn't as simple as it seems here in particular if you need an invalid parking spot. I refuse to be called "stark crazy" for a choice I didn't have. @randahl

Replying to
@czarbucks@vmst.io No, that can't be true. Might give people an incentive to intentionally spread this dangerous virus! How is it possible that this is allowed?
Replying to
@czarbucks@vmst.io That is great news. What we need in these times. But I hope the arsonist will have to pay some way as well.

@Eetschrijver @bert_hubert Dat kan bijna niet vaak genoeg. Mijn bijzondere zwager.

@CatherineBabault @carolannie Yes, quite delicious! With the slightly warmer climate it is more abundant here in #Amstedam too. It grows along roads which are frequently salted in winter so you may need to use some salt if other weeds overwhelm it.

@older@mstdn.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu We need both. Then we could again have safe cycle paths in a flat country where the heavy ones would be treated as mopeds. In a mountainous country this will be different.

@BeautifulSunPhotography@sfba.social No, my detachments didn't leave any measurable decline in vision, but at the same time I had a gradually increasing cataract on both eyes, so they couldn't observe my retina as well as they would have liked. There were some worries about thinning, but when I had had my cataract operations everything turned out to be fine.
It was an unusual form of cataract. For several years I had to buy new glasses faster and faster as the strength of the glasses was quickly increasing.
Replying to
@BeautifulSunPhotography@sfba.social Yes, as to 1, that happened to me 20 years ago. I was so worried as my mum had had a nasty tear at the same age. And two years later my other eye started flashing. Also only a detachment. The floaters are rather annoying, but not bad enough to want an operation.

@markmccaughrean@mastodon.social We really need a portable instant DNA probe. Even though much of the fun would then disappear...

@bert_hubert @kustawbessems Interessant.

@hannorein@mastodon.social Nice high school chemistry calculation. But I wonder whether you need to supply nitrogen only. Here in the Netherlands we get an overdose from air pollution... Of course this depends on where you live.

@czarbucks@vmst.io Unbelievable. So sad. For the owners, but also for the visitors. Shouldn't happen but it did. 😢

@markmccaughrean @albertcardona It is certainly unreliable if I try to do it by photo. But if you have photos from all sides what else do you need? Smell? Sound? A movie showing how it moves? Or is only a dead one plus a microscope sufficient?
