Have enjoyed making and doing stuff on the first couple of webs thus far. Now working on web-related stuff for a book publisher. I like music. Brooklyn gardener. May or may not be notable. He/him.
I shave more often than my profile pic would suggest.
This is the third or fourth location I've tried for this clematis over the years; it seems pleased with its new home.
I'm relieved: I was initially worried that I had cut this hydrangea back too aggressively earlier in the spring.
Happy First Daylily of the Year Day to me, who celebrates.
Would I prefer that the new kittens hadn't chosen the basket of napkins (which we humans plan to use while eating in the near future) as their top nap spot? Yes.
Am I going to do anything about that? No.
So smol, so cute.
Putting "Starring Sting, with Shaggy" on the posters for your theatrical production is a great way to say "yes, we kind of lost the plot here, but please come see the show anyway, whoever you are, we spent a lot of money on this!"
Any hydrangea nerds want to help me out?
It's the first really hot day in 7b Brooklyn, and the hydrangea that's been super happy so far is already wilting a bit, even with a gallon or so of water today on top of drip irrigation.
Last year I definitely under-watered and the flowers burned, and I don't want to do that again; do I need to worry about over-watering, or can I just do as much as the soil will absorb?
