Here's how to translate albums photo albums. Languages are automatically detected and added by adding a language key.

I FINALLY figured out how to properly use sub domains on uberspace and it turns out it was quite quite easy all along.

@doctormo In lieu of the problematic behavior of the main pixelfed developer, I created a small web alternative called #ocular.It requires a bit more technical skills to setup (as well as a webserver) so it's less accessible for non-tech savvy folks, but it might still be a viable alternative?

It's alive! Still a bit barebones, but it works and I can export and generate albums. Currently the sole purpose of the editor is to arrange the images, everything else is done in a text editor.
Now I am wondering how far to take this. Writing a full blown editor would probably kill the scope of this project, but switching between multiple editors for a single tasks feels clumsy.

@bd@merveilles.town Yeah, I know, I'm still a little hung up on that as well, especially as the members of the webring grows, the longer the build process will become, which would only take a second otherwise. :/
I think I'll implement a config flag to turn off the webring optionally.
