Unused finnish crown jewels.
In 1918 after #Finland declared independence from #Russia, there were plans on a monarchy including a prince from #Germany.
In 1990 this crown was created from the original drawings from 1918.
We happended to see it on our roadtrip through #Kemi and #LumiLinna .

@nicd@masto.ahlcode.fi I see such weird things on the net so my first thought was that you used the bike to rotate the fan without electricity, but I assume the that work you did was to actually transport it home? 😄

@leberschnitzel@existiert.ch Good question. According to some thread with linked data there seems to be some measurable impact.

Boards of Canada - Olson, on a PDP-1 from 1959. 🎶
”The PDP-1 was never intended to produce audio […] It does however have six "program flags," which are flip-flops wired to six light bulbs on the control panel. A CPU instruction provides the ability to turn these light bulbs on or off via software.”

@slamr@hub.uckermark.social Sounds like you had a good time! I have fond memories of walking part of it with the boyscouts 30 years ago. Good to see that it still looks awesome!

@rikviergever@mastodon.social I don’t have any contacts at banks, but I started thinking, could this be solved through accessibility requirements?
In Finland you would contact this authority in that case.

@kodsnack@social.podsnack.se Har inte hört detta avsnitt än. Gissar det stiliga porträttet föreställer avsnittsgästen, men av nån orsak började jag tänka att kanske Jean Sibelius diskuteras i avsnittet. 🤭

@nikitonsky@mastodon.online I really enjoyed using the Alabaster theme! This concept is something that you don’t realize until someone puts the finger on it. ☝️
I had some bugs with the JetBrains version, but haven’t gotten around to debug it, so I run some regular ”christmas lights” theme at the moment. 😅
