The new ISP says "unfortunately you are disconnected" and of course the customer service isn't open. Need to call them tomorrow. Meanwhile the connection does actually work, but at around 2M instead of the ordered 1000M. So I'm asking the fediverse to please post slower for the time being. Thank you for your coöperation.

This instance will go down today due to me changing ISPs. Having two fibres is a luxury that allows for getting eternal discount prices at the cost of changing ISP every year or so. (One fibre was already there, one was offered at a cost of 0 € for installation, it was a no-brainer. I haven't gotten a third one yet though. :D)

@feuer@social.feuerx.net MusicBrainz Picard? Oon sillä korjannut Music.app-kirjastossa olevien biisien tageja tarkemmiksi. Se UI on kyllä veret seisauttava mutta toimii. Joskus sielläkin on toki tagit pielessä että kaikkea en sieltä pureskelematta niele. Muistaakseni lisää tiedostot -> cluster -> scan tai lookup -> tarkastele oikealla ja tallenna. Music.app tajuaa muutokset kun menet katselemaan biisejä. Toki mä synkkaan rsyncillä musat sitten, että ehkä siinä on joku ero.

This cable (linking the VR motors to the circuit board) is attached to an internal barrel of the lens by double-sided adhesive which deteriorates releasing the cable, which then becomes caught on the focus linkage. Continued use may release the focus issue, but it does so by damaging the cable and disabling the VR.

She got excited and we ordered a used D5300 that we're now waiting for, to see if the old hobby would take flight again. :) I took a lot of photos back in the day but never spent a moment thinking about theory or other photographers' learnings. I think now would be the time to look at that part.

Where to put the photos that I take?

That could change though depending on what I find out. :) I know of Immich also, but right now I'm thinking more of "how to show others my photos" rather than "how to store and organise my photos".

There's a music festival nearby this weekend. A local resident has complained about it to the European Court of Human Rights, so I reckon it might be a tad loud.

It's warm out here. Not my best work but it did the job. Was able to use it for maybe 20 minutes for fanning in cooler air in between people smoking on their balconies. :| #CarryShitOlympics

Not exactly CarryShitOlympics, but I had fun positioning e.g. my fake-crocs on the back of my bike while on our trip this summer. Having the mug hanging off the side of the pannier meant it was hitting the plastic parts and sounded like a cow bell every time I hit uneven terrain. #BikeTooter

Tuo Music.app on vaan jäänteenä musiikin organisointiin ja voihan sillä soittaa sitten läppärillä paikallisesti. Oikeesti olis järkevää käydä koko kanta läpi ja tägätä kaikki paremmin mutta Navidrome varmaan hukkais playcountit osasta biisejä ni en uskalla. :D

Feels strange to see LLM powered projects pop up even in niche languages. You're searching for a library and you see one with an amazing stylized landing page and docs, which used to be reserved for actual big projects. Now you can't tell if it's a popular one or something the author one-shot and will then throw away except maybe from the download count. Of course, being FLOSS, it's their prerogative. I'm not a paying customer. But it feels strange. Even unreleased packages have those.
