On sunny winter days, when the sky is clear, the fjord looks so blue from the distance of this city. The mountains in the background also take on a beautiful bluish shade.

Every time I visit this small city, I stay at Scandic Seilet for this amazing view.
Don't be fooled by the Moon, it is generally visible almost all the time during the day, especially in winter. Just another ordinary winter day with -17°C at the Washington Mills facility.

There is only the North Sea between Scotland and Norway. While I was in Edinburgh, I hiked up Calton Hill and used Google Maps to point toward Norway. The first photo looks across the North Sea in the direction of Bergen. The second was taken at Portobello Beach, right by the water.

Raysa Beel is a wetland area in Chuadanga. A beel is a large, shallow natural depression that fills with water, especially during the rainy season. At that time of year, the water spreads and the size of Raysa Beel increases significantly, flooding much of the surrounding land you see in the photo.
We only had a few days of snowfall earlier this winter, but the snow from that period has remained, thanks to the consistent sub-zero temperatures since December. Today, the snowfall has finally returned.
September marks the start of Autumn in Norway. On sunny days, afternoons are very pleasant with mild temperature and beautiful colors.

Turku is the third largest city in Finland by population. I spent a day here in the city center. This enabled me to take a walk along the Aura River and explore the city’s only remaining street from the medieval era.
The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan–Cortina have come to a close, and Norway finished at the top of the table with 41 medals (18 gold, 12 silver, 11 bronze), more than any other country at the Games.
In total, athletes from countries in the European Union earned 164 medals across the competition.

Yesterday was the coldest day in Trondheim since 2024, as the average temperature was -17.6°C. At some parts of the city, it was as low as -19.2°C!
AccuWeather predicts that the temperature will never be higher than 1°C before 7 March 2026.

Arham is 4 years old and absolutely loves cars. I am sharing these photos so that one day in the future, he can look back and recall that he once had this. I hope it will motivate him to buy a real one at some point.

When I was in London back in March, I only spent a day to explore the city. Although I came to see the London Eye, there was not time take the ride. But I didn't miss it this time. The London Eye takes you 135 meters above the ground, offering a stunning view of almost every corner of the city.
