@eldavi@lemmy.ml @faraiwe@mstdn.social yeah, just topple the board already. Any mobile phone could beat you at chess, should tell you all you need to know. Goes for AI too, btw. Suitable for computing - not creating. We need real people, connections, community. Heart, communication, empathy. All things you don't need to win at chess - and algorithms are famously incapable of. Strike, boycott, listen to, empower marginal groups. The quiet ones. This to people across the globe, btw. WE GOT THIS!

@faraiwe@mstdn.social @eldavi@lemmy.ml Have you ever played with any of the DNC candidates? Do they understand chess?

@990000@mstdn.social lol AS artificial stupidity more like OI for life! organic intel <3

@blueorangeblue@c.im @TheBreadmonkey@beige.party Thank you for pointing out this historic event 🤍 https://www.bbc.com/news/live/c0r0201jgdlt

@BuyFromEU Yes! Me! On it! I installed Waterfox, but now unsure. Should I not use Ecosia anymore? As it does data harvesting and that's one of the reasons - I just don't want that. Better for the environment, better for my speed of use. Transitioning to Mastodon and Pixelfed, away from Spotify, partly YT still, I did install PeerTube but contentwise it is lacking for now, on SoundCloud and BandCamp trying to get people to use/come there. #FOSS Thinking bout Android > Fdroid etc

@brianbilston I wanna read the WiFi one Or how to teach my neighbour to change their wifi password Or how to convince anyone to share their wi-fi Or why isn't Wi-Fi a public service by now?

@WorldTravelerAll7 Its largely the same organisation, connecting principle: has empathy. Also coincides w LQBTQIA+/allies, those who like a livable planet, strive to minimize their consumption and build/maximize community bomds. Indeed, sounds like awful and v scary beings. Wouldn't wanna be or see m.

@ElBeeToots@mastodon.nl @barbarakathmann@mstdn.social @bert_hubert@mastodon.nl Oh je hebt gelijk my bad, conflating privacy issues. Dank voor het opmerken 🤍

@alipunk @catsalad Is it different cats, really? Or just different eyes to the One True Black Cat?

@Achyu@lemmy.sdf.org @pineapple@lemmy.ml I am 💯 blonde and Kaukasian presenting.

@whatanerd@social.treehouse.systems in a classic science approach, there's always more research needed. Well, guess what? We know enough. We are ruled by a bunch of self servin, money and resources grabbing toddlers. It's time we tell them NO in a way there's no two ways about it. STOP IT! We, the rest of us, are dying, or will be shortly. Talk time is over.

@katemorley @aick 🤍

@petko 🍻 Enshittification 🏴‍☠️🦜👻 Also https://youtu.be/y2lkVlB96y4 And ofc - ty @sofonofos - https://youtu.be/-olLunvuxX8?si=G7lc_3PWgnPwWKCK Now. What SHALL we do with the drunken sailor? Way hay and up, she rises

@Achyu@lemmy.sdf.org @pineapple@lemmy.ml She may not know this, at least one of her forbearers actually *was* a slave, she wouldn't exist without them, and they were grateful to Castro, or fought alongside m. My truth too, inc the sugar plantations. And a lil later, fighting on opposite sides. Set in Java but eh, same transgenerational shi. Also the pretending (- "narrative," ie history as taught in school, ie propaganda) there never was war or conflict anywhere, except WWI & II. The "Real Heroes."

@whatanerd@social.treehouse.systems I think it maybe as simple as start caring, then act upon the things you see are wrong. Also, solving problems is a creative skill not necessarily taught in school. Classically, the scientific paradigm is analytic: pick the problem space apart. The solution space is something entirely different, and can be accessed through creative endeavours such as art and impro. Yes, and.. and failing forward are excellent methods, typically dismissed by classic science thinking.

@whatanerd@social.treehouse.systems I agree
