I really don’t understand this idea that it’s the fault of individuals when massive corporations and investors greenlight all of these horrible things. You can’t blame AI growth on individual users. The investors and board members made those decisions and the blame needs to go on them, not any of us. When consumers and workers are blaming each other for the faults of the rich we will never be able to unite against them.

I do understand that interpretation, although this is not just a feature of AI generated memes. Most memes posted here use only white characters or have western opinionated bias although I don’t see anyone having issues with that, it’s only when it’s AI generated. The person who created this meme had the option to make the characters in the meme to of various ethnicities but didn’t. It’s not particularly difficult to prompt AI’s in specific ways so it reveals your creative vision rather than allowing the AI to make the decisions for you.

Proton is filling a role until Linux gets popular enough. Once there is enough demand for Linux, devs will start making games with Linux support in mind meaning more well compiled native games. While proton is very good it's far from perfect and devs will want people to have the most seamless experience possible with their game.

Even if that is the way they chose, if it means games are compatible I dont see an issue. But I don't think they will, ultimately if games are properly compiled esspecially for linux they will be better than wine, and of course game devs want there game to run as fast as possible.

My current belief of it is that it is linux with less community support, less software support, less active development and just a worse overall experience. Why not? If the service is fully decentralized and e2e enceyptwe with metadata included how is this not fully private? I suppose someone with access to the network could see were the traffic is going to and from, in that case add a trusted vpn + tor. Ok sure it is possible for tor to be tracked and it is possible for a team to hijack your vpn providers servers forecefully and take logs. So technically possible. But even then they will only find who you are talking to, not what you are saying. But it is also much easier to use countless tracking techiques to locate you, find were you are going and find who you are talking to. Both of these are very unlikely to happen unless you are being personally targeted by govenment agencies.
