@artbyeliza@mastoart.social I want that prize, please 🥺

@hildabast@mastodon.online that is so true, and I'm sorry for your loss

@CubitOom@social.linux.pizza absolute Hero ... but did he have to be so attractive? 🫠

@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social and I took that seriously

@cynder_coyote@pawb.fun gotta change to Linux 🫠

@inkandashes@lgbtqia.space I hope you have a wonderful time on the platform and you find your people. What is aegosexual? I've never seen that one

@vicgrinberg@mastodon.social ok, thank you for the clarification. So what I learned in class was correct, but incomplete. 😅

@wonka@chaos.social @vicgrinberg@mastodon.social yeah, that is true, but the infographic said that the explosion is the origin of those elements, whereas the elements are already formed in the star, they are just trapped. Idk, maybe it is a technicality but it sounded weird to me.

@vicgrinberg@mastodon.social wait up... The elements from Helium until Iron are created from nuclear fusion in the cores of stars as fuel to make their energy. Not in their explosions. 🤔

@ExpiredPopsicle@vt.social that's nice! I am so poly and never saw any of the flags hehehe. Thank you for the info ❤️

@maxleibman@beige.party not needing a job while still getting UBI would be a "saving" of sorts. But yeah, they are not planning for UBI either, they just expect people to buy goods and services with imaginary money they get from their lack of jobs.

@hjvt@hachyderm.io I'm not sure why you say you can't. Here is an example from a math textbook.

@hjvt@hachyderm.io in math you absolutely can evaluate the whole series. That makes it different already. And yes there are cases on which they align and that's why I said that as an analogy it is fine. But saying that they are the same is like confusing a map for the actual terrain or like mixing physics with actual nature. You cannot put math in a computer, you can only put a series of instructions to read and write from and to a finite binary register. Some things in math can be represented that way, others things can be approximated, and yet others can't. And even when you can it is a representation, like that of a map with respect to actual terrain. A very useful one, there is no denying in that. The ubiquitous presence of computers all around the world is a testament to that fact. But they are different things. I have nothing against harnessing the educational power of analogies to help learners, but I think the statement in the original image "are just" is an oversimplification which potentially denies the reader the full beauty of the sigma notation for sums in math, and that's why I wanted to add a little extra.

@inkandashes@lgbtqia.space oh, I see! Thank you for taking the time to give a detailed answer 🧡 I guess that it falls somewhere in the asexual spectrum? 🤔

@infobeautiful@vis.social damn, I am at point 2 with my book. A long path awaits 🫪

@artbyeliza@mastoart.social how will you do the choosing? 👀

@kiaun@meow.social great art!

@cryptids@yip.gay @spark@yip.gay hey Spark, welcome to the platform. Check out my intro, maybe we have stuff in common ☺️

@DoomsdaysCW@kolektiva.social thank you, I got the best mark ‼️❣️💯❣️‼️

@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems that's the news story. Wow

@infobeautiful@vis.social why are there a couple cream colored pixels down in Chile? Wtf

@skeletor@mas.to and I took that seriously

An instrument I got as a gift 🎁 It came from China and it's called "Hulus"

@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social I thought it meant the heat wave

@pheonix@hachyderm.io what do you mean with "before 2023"? We all know that doesn't exist 👀

@artbyeliza@mastoart.social i am Student and can't afford to get the commission 😭. I barely get by, right now I owe the government like 1.5k in unpaid taxes for example.

@LALegault@newsie.social I would guess that the study was made by neurotypical scientists

I will get surgery soon. Enjoy this double rainbow I saw.

@jupiter@mastodon.gamedev.place YES!!!!

The book I'm reading

@alice@lgbtqia.space I feel compelled to say "good girl" but I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable 👀

@infobeautiful@vis.social ah, the electron, I found it

@ExpiredPopsicle@vt.social would you remind me the flags, please 🥺

@hjvt@hachyderm.io yeah, that's the beauty of math. You don't "evaluate" term by term, you sum all of them simultaneously. Actually doing it term by term can lead to problems. That's another reason why the sum in math and the for loop are not the same thing

@infobeautiful@vis.social what is the epsilon in the middle???

@germorfor@xarxa.cloud te lo aceptaría, pero no estoy mucho en Barcelona 🥲

@acesfunhouse@kinkycats.org and consent can be revoked at any time

I've been getting better after surgery. I can walk about and go up and down stairs. I've been grocery shopping, at the pharmacy, to the hospital, and the metro. I'm starting to think about getting into an airplane to go home

@crispius@mstdn.fname.ca @newsthump@mastodon.online @TenPastTwo@mas.to right? What's up with that?

@emilianosandri@mastodon.bsd.cafe @maxleibman@beige.party sure, yeah, there are always ways on which things can be dystopic. But it is not like things are great right now either.
