Well here's something that doesn't surprise me in the least.
People with similar levels of autistic traits show greater social attraction to one another, and their brains synchronize in unique ways during active conversation. A recent experiment published in Biological Psychiatry suggests that social difficulties related to autism might be a problem of mismatched communication styles rather than an inherent social deficit.
This matches with our own life experience very well. It is much easier for us to be social with other autistics than to do so with neurotypical people.

Those who think Count Binface has no chance of winning are ignoring the elephant in the room.
Why is it called a "threesome" and not a "fucktangle"?
I swear, sometimes dissociation seems like a superpower. Sarah was trying to help our roommate move some of his stuff into our storage unit since we have so much unused space in it, and she got really overwhelmed. Partly by noise just from being out of the house, partly from the stress (we are in the process of moving), and partly because she banged the back of our truck into a wall while at the storage place. She had a full on screaming meltdown and just couldn't take it any more.
So I stepped in to take over. She went inside to rest and I came out feeling pretty happy and upbeat and looking forward to the rest of the work. We ended up moving more stuff than originally planned. And now here I am at home playing games. I feel like the day has gone really well, but I know that before I came out the day was turning out to be horrible for Sarah.
But, yeah, that's dissociation, I guess. Those bad things from earlier? They didn't happen to me.
What a terrible week! Working, moving, stress, stress, stress, dissociation, mental and emotional breakdown, physical exhaustion, throwing things away, but now it's done. We have moved into a smaller apartment. Now it's time to sort through the remaining boxes containing the accumulated dreck of more than 3 decades and decide what to keep, what to sell, what to give away, and what to throw in the trash. The Great Reckoning of the Stuff has come. Here's what the new living room currently looks like.
i was going to do something pleasant. Something i haven't done in literally years. i was going to draw a picture! I cleared off my desk. I got out a drawing pad and my pencils and pens. I was all ready to start. Then my computer decided it wanted to crash. i just spent the past 4 hours trying to fix it. Seems to be fixed now, but at this point i'm depressed and exhausted
i hate computers. i have to use them. But i hate them. They used to be fun. Now they are a nightmare

RFK Threatens to cut off Medicaid/Medicare funding to hospitals that provide transgender healthcare!

Yes?
I see.
Correction, that should be "hospitals that provide Jello to patients".
Once again, if you are feeling suicidal, DO NOT CALL THE POLICE! They will not help you and they may actually try to kill you!
