@mira@netopwibby I once set my resolution higher than the monitor could handle. I also accidentally pressed enter. Took me an hour to memorize how to blindly navigate and change the resolution without mouse.
@bagder@mastodon.social Que the meme where Java thinks it is the one at the top of the world, and then there are these libraries standing behind him, much more buffed.
@vervain@mastodon.vervainglobal.com My server can run for 180 days without reboot, and suddenly starts crashing randomly with kernel panics. It needs an on-site reset to be fixed. Good luck doing that while on vacation.
I play #f2p, so it was a bit thrilling that they not only opened up two members skill, but they also made it possible to utilize members skill up to a certain point. Yes, this is to make the player more eager to pay for a member subscription, but I'm not falling for that, and I will make my utmost avoiding that trap.
Sure, if someone is interested in doing an audit, I'd be more than happy sending the source. (It's 75 lines, 3 functions, and 1.5KiB single-source file)
@david My package was on board for a whole month, then suddenly gone from tracking. I contacted them to send it again, and they didn't do it for another month, and then I contacted them one last time and they ignored me for two weeks until they suddenly sent it and it was finally delivered two weeks later. 3 months until I got my order.
TIL: - #DNS requires correct date/time in the system for #Unbound. - #NTP requires DNS to update date/time. Both these points create a circular dependency, where it'll get resolved only if the date/time is manually set.
@AzulCrescent Yes, fries are extra salty, and also are sweet so they can add more salt, and therefore you want more soda, and get full faster, so they can reduce the amount of real food you eat, for the same price, so they make a bargin you drinking cheap suggar water instead of eating their expensive meat.
No idea if this is true, though.
@catsalad@infosec.exchange Always pushing to prod. But it's easier when you got proper unit, behavior and integration tests blocking any bad code. Even better is that we're a small team, so we realized that PR just slowed us down and added no saftey whatsoever.
@utf_7@mastodon.social@geerlingguy@mastodon.social In Sweden it is legal to break the DRM on disks(music, dvd) if you only use it for personal backup. However, it is not legal to break DRM for games. I'm unsure if this applies to blueray, as laws seem to change per media.
