Im in the Netherlands (Amsterdam / Haarlem) for a few days and have brought a #meshcore node with me. It was amazing seeing messages come in from 30+ miles while on the aircraft, and I'm seeing constant chatter on the ground too.

My first night out clubbing since my breakdown / quitting society / going on antidepressants. What a vibrant world it is when you don't have the million voices of anxiety ringing in your ears. Feeling the immense ability of my mind processing every sound, movement & advancing ahead to predict what's coming is an incredible sensation. I could hear the DJ's future movements before he began, read the body language of individuals & navigate the storm of light & noise as if I were in a tranquil void.

I always knew the person I am today wouldn't live forever, but I'm surprised that at just 15 years old, he's dying. Only a few people left alive in this world ever met the first version of me, who gave up nearly everything he valued to let 2.0 ravage body and mind trying to fit into a society that's sicker than a rat that ate warfarin.
Everything is built on borrowed time now, and sooner or later I'm going to have to hand control back...

In a way, I'm relieved to be fading away.

This year was meant to be the one where I took control and had amazing adventures. Instead, it's all gone spiralling out of control. The ships controls no longer seem to respond an I'm tumbling into the void.

Hey, I heard you all like janky UI pictures. This one comes courtesy of Yealink's "state of the art" video conferencing system running Microsoft Teams 😮‍💨 If this was the worst bug on these systems it would be funny, but it's probably the smallest issue lol...

Last August I picked up a factory re-certified 18TB Exos hard drive for £223.
Figuring I'd get another to pair them in a RAID mirror, I looked at what the exact same re-certified drive costs from the same supplier; £435! Guess I'll not be getting another right now :(

I got this thing for £0.50 at a car boot sale a few weeks back, and it's been so much fun playing back some of my old childhood cassettes. I've already has to repair it twice and the audio is pretty low quality, yet there's something about it that brings far more joy than just putting on Spotify. Sometimes, it's the simple things.
