Every time I log into Windows for work or submitting my time sheet I get the same feeling of logging into a family member's virus and bloat ridden pc to help fix it.
Happy Easter, my one partner who has the only #Windows computer in the house is finally relenting because Windows 10 is no longer supported and letting me set him up with #linuxmint (which I did to his old laptop years ago so he could test it out.)

@nixCraft I adopted a three strike rule almost 10 years ago from a specific job/team. If you don't respond to me for three days in a row without some kind of out of office notice then your ticket is closed.
No company I've worked for since has had a solid procedure on this so I've just kept carrying this process into new roles.

I joked a lot about if the #nfl draft would have less attendance than #anthrocon, but uh, holy shit this weekend has been a madhouse.
I'm going to enjoy #pittsburgh quieting down until the combo of 4th of July + AC, followed by parkway east being closed for a month.
Frustrating how my parents seem to not understand that I've cut them off after 2 years of no contact.
When I first stopped speaking to them they had the local police do a wellness check.
When I've switched phones my block list doesn't transfer and I'll get voicemails from my step mother (never my dad). So they seem to continuously call me.
I'm thinking of changing my phone number entirely.

@V_Mags_Fox I'm mad that parkway north was the "detour" for closing both the Ft Pitt Bridge and Duquesne Bridge offramp onto Ohio River blvd. They detoured everyone up to Perry North, get on southbound and then they're allowed on Ohio River Blvd north.
