Leo Schuldiner🤘🏼

Well, last saturday I was able to go to a PET SHOP BOYS show... totally unexpected. They played at the emblematic "Festival de Viña del Mar" (the biggest latin Festival in the world; btw you can see the show on Youtube or Disney+): they were so popular that they decided to add another date in a small Theater in Santiago, after a big long lenght show on friday.

It was like I was in 1989... Able to see those pop masters a few meter away from me. 1 hour and 40 minutes; a show at an affordable price, benefiting a charitable cause. Chile loves them even more. Thanks for everything, guys.

It is impressive how they play live as if they never aged! The voice of Neil Tennant is intact! For real... I felt like it was 1989. Magical. If you have the chance to see them live, do it! don't doubt it... besides: they are touring with all their greatest hits, it was like a discotheque-party.

@elena @emilymbender @cwebber @tante that's a great question that we need to make to ourselvea every day.

• Disconnect from all centralized/advertising controlled social networks. (For example, if it has ads, don't register)
• Say no to monthly subscriptions for creative softwares (adobe, for example)
• Absolutely no AI for professional work
• Absolutely no to all AI training jobs
• Discredit AI daily (on your social media, with your family and friends, etc)

Go!

Ok, so: I love Mac. I use it since 2007 until today and I think it is the best machine Apple had and has. I bought an iMac 2020 i7 27", with 8 gb RAM, 512 gb SSD and a Radeon Pro 5500 XT (8 GB) the same year.

OK. I noticed Apple launched its new Macbook M5. I went to their website and tried to "TRADE IN" my iMac 2020. Do you know how much is my computer worth to Apple? 200 USD. YES. 200 bucks for a 27" screen all-in-one computer that Apple charged to me more than 1,500 USD 6 years ago.

Is it fair? Come on, Apple... you can do that better, don't you? what do you think? impressions? opinions? I read you.

Have you already seen the Children of Bodom reunion/tribute concert in Finland last week? Very exciting and touching. Seeing Alexander playing the guitar after so many years, and enjoying Samy's excellent job singing and playing like Alexi Laiho: I imagine it was an exhausting work; all solos were just like the original recordings, and his singing very alike too. Alexi should be proud, although the differences they all had in the past. I hope this is the begining of a world tour. It was clear they missed playing together. What do you think??

@falcennial@mastodon.social agree. I really don't know if advertising is evolving or worsening every day.. So much technology, only to end up making bad-basic decisions.Come on!!

Has anyone had a job interview with an AI? I've had two, and I think I'll run away next time someone tells me I passed the first filter to chat with a bot. It's truly sad: both times they said if I passed the AI part, maybe I could have an actual conversation with someone from the team. Just maybe.

@hannsr@metalhead.club I'll take a look!!! Those devices fascinate me. I've seen many over the years!

@hannsr@metalhead.club yes! What device do you use? Is it a "mp3 player" or something? I haven't used one of them for over 10 years (or even more) :O

@hannsr@metalhead.club Right! Anyway I wanna know if the phone ends being the most used, 'cause I don't like it at all for "enjoying" music you know..

@hannsr@metalhead.club oh sure!! I guess a Phone could be in sort of way a DAP, right?
