Huh. I just learned, realized through conversing with my friend rather, that I didn't start playing 40k in 4th. It was 3rd. By about a year apparently.. huh.

Going to the Greyhound bus station shortly. Gonna go down and see dad finally. I'll be there for a week visiting other nearby family as well. Not gonna have time to hobby for that week though.

Oh dammit. I wasn't totally sold on Trench Crusade until that damn Tabletop Minions video. 😩

So #Fediverse,
I've got an issue. I'm not sure if it's a #Mastodon thing, or if it's unique to the Moshidon Android app. But, I *want* push notifications. I know it (at least my app) needs a third party app. The new problem with that is that the app giving the notifications only tells me I have a notification. Not what it is, not who did it or what they said or did, just "here's a notification that you have a notification".

Is there a Masto app that just *works* and gives me the proper notice?

For those of you who listen to podcasts, at all but mostly while hobbying, drop your recommendations in the replies.

Just came back from a social gathering. Thought I was going to paint. Can't. I'm thoroughly fried. Maybe a round of Slay the Spire, followed by a round of Yugioh Master Duel (I like the solo story quests), and then finish off with some Warframe.

So, now that sculpting #miniatures has effectively moved to #3d formats and everyone seems to be #3dPrinting them now, are metal minis still being made?

Is anyone using this 3d technology to, in the end, make metal minis at all? Or is there a feasibility aspect I'm not taking into account?

I ask because, well, I kinda hate resin. I'll deal with plastic, but I very much prefer something more.. permanent?
