@michael_@mathstodon.xyz @chrisstoecker@mastodon.social Dient einerseits dazu, ihre Programme, die ja nicht viel mehr sind als Autocomplete mit Wackelaugen, als mächtiger erscheinen zu lassen als sie sind.
Andererseits ist es natürlich eine Aufforderung, in sie zu investieren, denn sie sind die "good guys" und wenn jmd. anderes zuerst AGI entwickelt, dann sind das sicher die "Bösen" und die Menschheit geht unter.

meine persönliche Odyssee-Story ist, dass ich als leicht zu beeindruckender Jugendlicher einmal eine Autowerbespot gesehen habe, bei dem offensichtlich aus der Odysee zitiert wurde. Ich fands voll cool und beeindruckend, aber wie um alles in der Welt soll(te) ich diese Übersetzung finden?

Yesterday, I spend some time painting on my tablet, in Krita. This is the lighthouse of my wizard in our The Seven Part Pact-game, the Mariner.
We got to change one thing about the lore of our isles, and I changed the lighthouse to be the biggest tower in Isha and made out of seashells and ivory.
Anyway, I'm not very good at painting, but it is fun to experiment with the different brushes and tools Krita offers.

Jedenfalls ist es technisch nicht mehr. Diese Programme haben kein Bewusstsein, kein Modell der Welt, keine Intelligenz. Bei "DeepBlue" hat ja auch niemand gedacht, der würde die Weltherrschaft übernehmen, weil der Menschen in Schach schlägt.
