@iban@agora.co-science.fr J'aime bien Comaps et je l'utilise régulièrement si je me déplace à pied ou à vélo, car la qualité de la carte (Merci, OSM!) est tellement supérieure à Google.
Mais, dès que je roule en voiture les données les plus importantes deviennent celles du trafic en temps réel et là, malheureusement, le choix est vite fait.

Is it conceivable that their infra could be compromised to such a degree that there's a risk of them publishing compromised .DEBs when the servers come back up? That's a scary thought, as improbable as it might be. Anyway, I've turned off unattended-upgrades for now. (Mitigation for the copyfail CVE is in place.)
I'm glad I don't work in IT professionally...

@srslypascal "dedicated physical button" also on desktop? Do you remap from the default (wheel) to a thumb button? But most of my pasting is done with 'p' or 'P' anyway. 😊
As for Thinkpads I had one without separate buttons (just virtual as part of a clicky touchpad), it was horrible indeed.

@srslypascal To me that only ever made sense for mice that did have an actual middle mouse button. Clicking the wheel just feels wrong. (On my Thinkpad I can't use it either since it's my scroll button for the trackpoint.)
I'm wondering if I even used Linux back when there were still mice without scrollwheel. (I started playing around with Linux at the end of the 90s.)
