I thought I had lost my $30 ebay special camera (Now 21 years old!) Panasonic DMC-LZ2. There is something about the photos it takes I just like. Ends up it was just shoved in a cupboard during a clean up.
I am hopefully going to purchase an electric car in the next couple of months. After spending nearly 5k on dodgy mechanics keeping a 12 year old KIA going(just), I will never, ever, buy a car with a petrol engine ever again.

With the news in the last day that they hid the fact they received more crypto money - I was done.
I've never given Masto a proper go, but I am going to try.

Ten years ago I repurposed an old android phone into a solar powered weather camera. Through automations, it would take a photo every ten minutes then update a web page, send out a tweet and image on a Facebook page. Worked for a few years!

I sometimes think of early Flickr and how it basically had a form of photo based social media as well, but just didn't seem to capitalise on it.

I know when a lot of Australian twitter refugees I know landed onto the local instances there was heavy gatekeeping going on.
Most of them left very quickly.
