I am currently sitting waiting for an appointment at a public hospital outpatient clinic, I am early. I suspect I may regret being early

And I finally took some paracetamol for the dull ache that I had and knew I needed to do, but kept not doing because I was focusing on other things…
New #ADHDTax - not taking pain relief because keep forgetting to do so when you get up to do it…
(Trying to refocus on things that need to be done now I am home, and not really doing enough of anything, but I am also aware that I am also still dealing with winding down the week of stress of parental needs and flying, which I don’t like, and dentist this morning)

And some trains are out this weekend. Of course my usual trains are affected. On the plus side I can catch extra express trains to the city

This will be interesting tomorrow. We have been promoting our performance but we have no idea how many people will be attending. I suspect that a lot of people will decide at the last minute as it’s free
We are the second choir, we will perform on the stairs

That was fun..
A documentary by Richard OBrien’s son, about the making of The Rocky Horror Show. And it’s progress from London stage show to movie to cultural phenomenon
Available on demand on SBS in Australia.. https://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/movie/strange-journey-the-story-of-rocky-horror/2466427459956

@futzle@old.mermaid.town also, I think the one I tried reading and hated as an adult the most was Anathem by Neal Stephenson.
I remember struggling for a long time with it before I gave up and I was still waiting for it to become interesting
(Says the guy who read LOTR and Billy Bathgate in high school, despite the verbosity)

Latest intergenerational report, we need more young migrants
This article demonstrates in multiple ways why the discussion about immigration is really just theatre.
Also, why anyone thought Pezzullo was the best person to ask about this (or anything really) is just head scratching

@kcarruthers@infosec.exchange many of us feel like it should be only a matter of time… the problem is the FSB is basically running the government, it will be who they choose to replace him

@onekind@beige.party time signatures are weird but you never understand how weird until you try understanding music that swaps from 3/2 to 3/4 frequently (and yes I am dealing with this problem)
