I got the boot this month and am looking for a new software developer job. Rust and Python would be fun, but I can do a lot of stuff in JS/TS, Kotlin, Java, even C/C++ with a bit of a brush up... Bit of a jack of all trades full stack dev. Working with open source would be awesome if it paid just enough to survive the mortgage and get something to eat. Climate positive job or EU digital independence development is interesting too. Hybrid work within reasonable distance from Klaukkala is a-OK. Remote probably whole of EU <3. Can't travel. Ittelläni vähän kalliimpi malli pitkälti samoilla ominaisuuksilla (valo on kyllä hyvä).

A Volvo (I think it was a V70) tried to plough us over on the 60-80km/h area. When the 100km/h area started, it started getting farther back and soon wasn't visible in the rear view mirror at all until the 100km/h area ended. 😅️ And yesterday coming back home from Tuska festival in our e-NV200. I don't usually spend that much time on the left lane passing dino juice burners on a 120km/h motorway.

@jik@federate.social I kinda think it's basically the frameworks that fucked up commercial software development. Shit like React or Spring or whatever that C# crap is add so much complexity and ceremony to the coding part it has actually made commercial sw engineers about 0.1x engineers and now they're (they as in the companies) trying to catch up with the bullshit generators. If you have to churn out 10x the code just to satisfy the framework, it of course looks good to the bean counters if the bs generator does it faster. Nobody ever stops to think if it makes any fucking sense to write 10x the code.

Hah! Skidi halusi keytarin ja siihen piti sit joku tapa keksiä miten sitä opitaan soittamaan. Kuten tapoihin kuuluu, kaivoin Rock Band 3:n ja MIDI-adapterin naftaliinista ja tuikkasin kiinni PS3:een. Nowadays I just git clone any project I need from there and grep for whatever I was looking for. Maybe I should make my local forgejo keep up-to-date forks of everything I use often enough. 😅️

I'm so scatterbrained I tend to put wrong measurements on manual blueprints. If I do that in Freecad it either tells me I'm stupid, or the thing is drawn crooked if the measurements were wrong or crooked.

@mikko joo, kotilataus on aika ehdoton et saa ton kaavan toimiin. Taitaa nykyään olla aika harvassa paikat mistä saa alle 20c/kWh julkista. Aikanaan monessa paikkaa oli hidas 10c/kWh ni oli helpompi säästää.

@mikko ton tankkauksen kulun voi kutistaa vaihtamalla sähköön. Mut sit autolainan kk-erä on 200€, eikä 100€.
