Bez Lightyear

#TOTP Nice one. Mint. Cheers. Bostin. Thanks for your wondrous company, pops people. Next week, yeh?

#TOTP Mmmm People going from club bangers to Lighthouse Family beige in a couple of years is pretty depressing.

#TOTP Is this around the time of the birth of that execrable electro-swing bollocks?

#TOTP There's obviously an exclusion zone around Tom Jones with them dancers

#TOTP It's like someone at stage school saw All Saints and thought "we can do that"

#TOTP PopBitch once posted a rumour that Tom Jones swilled his little Tom Jones with Listerine before getting intimate with the ladies.

#TOTP According to the telly EPG, the 1979 episode features XTC. I seem to remember a 1979 episode aired last year where XTC appeared on the EPG but not the actual episode. I'm guessing it'll be the same episode tonight.

#TOTP sounds like Hazel got given a B-side that Kylie discarded

#TOTP Is this cue for my "Michael Jackson dance moves danced by Gordon Jackson" toot?

#TOTP Pops orchestra's guitarist wrestling with that pedal steel

#TOTP Wasn't this bloke in the Rah Band doing the phones on Clouds Across The Moon?

#TOTP WHY HAVE WE NOT HEARD 'FLOWERS'?

#TOTP I'd rather be watching Kate Bush tbh

#TOTP Too much reverb on the backing vox

#TOTP SWEET BABY JESUS AND THE DONKEY WHIPLASH KLAXON

#TOTP We can now see why Toploader were considered a one hit wonder.

#TOTP Isn't he a wrong un now?

#TOTP Sinitta traded her tall blokes for some lasses who were hanging about outside the studio

#TOTP I watched a video where Stew Copeland played New World Man with the 2 guys from Rush. At one point he dropped a drumstick, but he was so fucking incredibly good that he covered the high hat & snare one handed while he grabbed a spare stick. I had to watch it again in slow motion it was barely noticeable. Immense drummers featured heavily in this Pops episode.

#TOTP Marge Simpson's looking well

#TOTP Cocaine is a hell of a drug

#TOTP Thenverse if this is a classic 70s disco song rewritten. I Will Survive maybe?

#TOTP Choon - what a episode

#TOTP that high pitched whine sound on the song is Ryuichi Sakamoto spinning in his grave

#TOTP Alan Clarke looks like he's the head of some really tasty East End gangster family.

#TOTP Look, Simon Powell approves of this song

#TOTP Well, 3 songs in and this episode is better than the whole previous hour

#TOTP You're a fake baby!

#TOTP Verse - Prog Genesis. Chorus - solo Phil Collins.

@bigvimto@mendeddrum.org Sex Cob doesn't have quite the same ring #totp

#TOTP Awww look at Dave Gregory having the time of his life back there

#TOTP OXIDE AND NEUTRINO WENT DOWN BUT GET PLAYED? ARE THEY RELATED TO CRAIG DAVID?

#TOTP The verse of this Mmmm People song reminds me of Holby City's theme tune

#TOTP Clem Burke is immense

#TOTP "OH GOD. OH JESUS CHRIST NOOO!!"

#TOTP What's going on? Is the drummer playing a different song?
