I had that headscratch moment in a file-system where within a folder we had 2 identical filenames. 🤯 Turned out one was written by a MacOS system, the other one by a Linux system and they used different Unicode-normalisations... 🤦 I learned a lot about Unicode that day. Things I never was able to unsee 🙈

I am tempted to create a CI-pipeline action that fails whenever a git-commit doesn't explain *why* a change was made. #git #commit

You know what's worse than an email with "Kindly note the attachment"? An email with "You have a new document in your inbox. Simply log in to your online banking to retrieve the document." And I am not even talking about the "simply"... I am customer at an insurance company that sends me these documents directly via a PHP encrypted email. It *is* possible to use email for secure communication. But seemingly not for german banks.

@naderman@phpc.social Well... I'd argue that that can be reached with decentralized key-signatures as well - after all that is what SLSA is based on - just the trust-framework is a different one. Which is BTW - at least to my understanding - lacking a common way of revoking trust into certain artifacts in hindsight. And decentralized key-structures can also be used in automated ways, so no "human error" necessary... Also vieleicht stellenweise tiefer, aber da sollte man nicht drauf bauen... Ja, theoretisch kann man da durchlaufen. Praktisch würde ich eventuell davon abraten. Beim Pegel Kaub ist die Fahrrinne nur noch 1,90 - 0,77 + 0,02 = 1,15 Meter tief.... 🙈 (Alle Daten aus Elwis)
