I took my Nokia #N900 from the drawer and put latest #Maemo #Leste on sdcard. It has some quirks to overcome at start, but it works quite fine. I've bought a new replacement battery, so it now keeps running for a long time.

I installed wireguard on it and can use SSH to log in to my devices. The dillo browser is not able to render websites correctly, but also it's amazing when it shows only relevant parts and cuts all the crap. Email is timeless, so it just works. Syncevolution is unfortunately currently broken (can't install; broken dependencies).

A real pocket computer. It has aged like a fine wine :blobmiou:

I was in a furniture store. There were desks and chairs to buy. To imagine yourself working with a laptop, they had those fake laptops, that were just plastic frames with a screen and keyboard printed on paper inside.

@EUCommission Disinformation spreads, because platforms promote what's engaging. Just ban recommendation algorithms and personalized feeds and a lot of problems (including this one) will be solved.

Replying to

@nikitonsky@mastodon.online Semantic versioning is essential for libraries exposing APIs. But apps can use any versioning and this is what usually happens anyway.

Yet Another Dotfiles Manager

When you live in a command line, configurations are a deeply personal thing. They are often crafted over years of experience, battles lost, lessons learned, advice followed, and ingenuity rewarded.
