A photo which combines The Dark Forest by Cixsin Liu, Warrior by Public Image Limited (extended version - Dorrell Mix) and my current feeling while I'm sitting on Khao Lak beach watching stars and distant universe....

@cstross@wandering.shop I'm wondering what has happened to those, die-hard supporters of Brexit? What has happened to those famous evangelists of endless flow of money into NHS? What has happened to those emissaries of border control? Stuck at the Spanish, Fance or Greek border in a passport queue? Paying more for food?

@nictakiego@mastodon.com.pl @BataDroker@mastodon.social @Tutanota@mastodon.social In my opinion: If this project is entirely created by specialist ( IT security, ISO2701, GDPR, and so on) it would be a great piece of work. But we know that the project is driven by data mining and a promise of future profits and only dressed up as "on-line security". But I can be mistaken as it is not my field of expertise.

@BataDroker@mastodon.social @nictakiego@mastodon.com.pl @Tutanota@mastodon.social Yes, you are right. Stasi and their surveillance systems incl. collection of citizens clothes (to preserve smell - for tracking) And of course Securitate in Romania. Although they support the control, sadly.

@EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu Thinking in terms of possible gains...if the project delivers intended result it can balance out US influence. If Mexico would join the partnership (initially only as a user - no offence) it may significantly impact US market.
Well done for now. Looking forward to future projects within this partnership.
For all of those who are united under the banner of stars and straps...
