So America's war on terrorism started out the gate with at least three wedding bombings in its first year, and another cluster in Bush's final year in office, with that one in 2004 sitting in between just to keep young couples' feet cold, and then Obama picked up where he left off bombing at least one in his first year in office and another in his second. I'd give Biden more credit for bombing the fewest weddings if he hadn't been such a brazen proponent of bombing everything to begin with.

The monumental manpower manning the tech press -- seemingly the last large labor pool of reporters in the country, are they all on the silicon valley payroll? -- could easily stuff their pages full with tales from revolutions in healthcare and energy but all they ever want to blather about are murderous scammy chatbots that spawn spaghetti code and technical debt, blindly steal the efforts of artists, and flood the courts with endless fabricated citations.

Israel is always innovating in its efforts to control collateral damage. For instance consider this week's quadruple-tap strike in Mayfadoun, which managed to murder paramedics from three separate ambulance services as each attempted in turn to rescue the last first responders.

"Every Black kid is now just standard put on Adderall, SSRIs, benzos, which are known to induce violence. Those kids are gonna have a chance to go [to one of my wellness farms] and be ‘reparented,'" Robert F Kennedy Jr explained on a podcast without explaining what "reparented" means, letting him off the hook two years later when a congress member asked him to explain it and he could blame his cocktail of toilet seat cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, and DMT.

"The benchmark was the 2003 invasion of Iraq, where roughly 2,000 people worked the targeting process for the entire war. During Scarlet Dragon, 20 soldiers using Maven handled the same volume of work. By 2024, the stated goal was 1,000 targeting decisions in an hour. That is 3.6 seconds per decision, or from the individual “targeteer’s” perspective, one decision every 72 seconds. The Maven Smart System is the platform that came out of those exercises." https://www.theguardian.com/news/2026/mar/26/ai-got-the-blame-for-the-iran-school-bombing-the-truth-is-far-more-worrying

It's kind of funny how much despair people can knot themselves up into without observing the elementary stripping of publishers' liability for promoting harmful speech.

Would this resurgence of orality be so awful if people with terrible things to say weren't being promoted as ubiquitous authorities? The race to the bottom of the discourse has been unhindered by consequence in novel, disregulated ways. It was a choice that Candace Owens became a public health authority.
