New toy. I bought an Epilogue GB Operator. It reads Gameboy and GBA games and save files from a cart, let's me play on Windows or Linux, then save my progress back to the cart.
It can also apply colour to original Gameboy games, rewind time, upscale the image, etc. Took a little effort to get it working properly on Linux (what doesn't) but it seems pretty good on the first evening.
Plus if you have fake knock off carts you can write homebrew games to them. Maybe some day I will finish developing a GB game and do just that.
Backed up my wife's Windows 10 laptop, installed Linux Mint, restored all files, bookmarks and programs in one evening. Regained half the RAM and 90Gb of SSD. I definitely just saved a laptop from the scrapheap.
Gambling adverts only ever show people winning. Imagine if gambling companies were forced to show people winning or losing in their adverts, at a ratio that matches players that actually win or lose in their service. That would be a good start.
The number of gambling adverts in the UK seems to have skyrocketed in the past ten years. Really concerning.
• Run up a new app.
• "Getting Started" popup appears.
• Automatically close it based on a habitual reflex to annoying popups.
• Looks an alien interface.
• "Right, how do I get started?"
This is how I start using most software, websites and apps. I can't be alone.

Here is my one cleaning tip.
If you have mould (black, pink or yellow) on some grout you can safely use a mix of bleach and bicarbonate of soda. They don't react, but separate quickly in a pot so you have to keep stirring. Blob a toothpaste consistency on the grout and rinse off the next day. Even if it was black, it will now be white again. It works.
(Not for silicone, which splits if exposed to bleach too much)
