@rl_dane@polymaths.social I have never had any cats, but I am starting to feel like a latent cat person. Various people close to me have cats now that are all very fond of me.

I have a quick rant of a blog post today.

“Monetize your hobbies”
Nope. I can’t even get things to talk about out of my hobbies, let alone money
I always wish there was a way to meet people without having to talk to them. I'm not talkative enough to do it that way
My latest blog post, now with 100% more blog post!

It’s sad. The one time I actually do want to subscribe to someone’s newsletter—it’s on substack :/
I added a /stats page to my blog

bubbles.town is very cool, but it has been very bad for the number of tabs I have open.
There’s plenty of posts about blogging workflows out there, but I’m curious about social media workflows. What are your processes for coming up with toot ideas and whatnot?
I'm closing April out with one more post. Enjoy!

Rootin' AND tootin'? In this economy?!
There's some sort of federation weirdness going on today. I keep getting notifications for old polls
I should listen to more chiptunes... 🤔
I have a post in my drafts folder about AI. I don't know if I can finish it. I'm sick of AI. I'm sick of thinking about AI; I'm sick of hearing about AI; I'm sick of worrying about AI. I am so, so tired.
Does anyone else ever have those days where you are trying to write but your hands just refuse to type?

@daj@gofer.social @paulhebert@sunny.garden Good show! And I believe you were the one to introduce me to this game, so thank you for that!
I can't remember who around here mentioned #AutomaticNoodle by Annale Newitz, but whoever you are, thank you. I checked it out from the #library and I'm really enjoying it so far!

@ephemeromorph Make sure to read the personal life section! It’s a normal political biography most of the way through, and then it hits you with this:
“ Eagleburger had three sons, all of whom are named Lawrence Eagleburger”
What a guy.

@rl_dane@polymaths.social @dm@polymaths.social Dials and switches are great! When they break you can replace them or even just improvise.

Woohoo! I actually made it home from work in time to watch the #Artemis2 launch live!
I wrote a blog post about some of the things I've been doing with my website

Hah! That did the trick. The bus showed up right after I posted this
I keep getting hits for broken links on my website. But I have no idea where they’re coming from. 🤔
I got two new #CDs in the mail today 🥳

@jp@polymaths.social I happened to be in the kitchen when I saw this, so it’s an unusually low 2: my phone and my watch
I think the next thing on my agenda is going to be getting my stuff back up on #geminiprotocol It’s been a while
Among other things today, I threw together a quick command line tool for generating a human.json file. It's quick and dirty, but it's still better than writing json by hand.

I did some nice tinkering on the webbed site tonight. It's nothing very visible, just organizing some stuff behind the scenes.

Life tip: make sure the lid on the bottle of salad dressing is screwed down BEFORE you shake it up
A question for my fellow bloggers: do you reread your own posts?
I had a lovely walk today. Though it was through the kind of neighborhood that has too many software architects and not enough regular architects. There were far too many buildings that were just jumbles of grey boxes
I solved today's #TiledWords puzzle!

@samuel Today the website is saying that is in my city, and the estimated delivery date has been changed to tomorrow. I have much more confidence in this
The tracking information on my package says it is arriving today. The tracking information on my package says it was last scanned at a distribution center two states away. I have my doubts here...
For the first post of April, I have some rambling cantankerousness for you
