Stories about how a Coal plant poisoned a river don't end in "While it's true that coal plants generate useful electricity..." as though that is something that needs reinforcing.

The games that are going to sell in the next 2 years are good games with a strong art style that run on potatoes. Cos very few people are going to buy 2 5090s to play Elder Scrolls 6 lathered in slop.

Double and triple click like 5 times in a row just to select one word, and delete an entire line just to fix a typo at the start of a sentence... Just spent the day wresting with #Linux distros. I was using #Kubuntu, but KDE has some annoyances so I thought I'd try #LinuxMint: Nope, Wacom no worky (maybe the next release will fix that, but it's a few months away).

#Ubuntu 26.04 - Wacom no work in Krita (amongst other annoyances)
#Debian 13 - Screens randomly shut off

So I'm back to vanilla Ubuntu 25.10. Maybe they will fix 26.04, but I don't like their general trajectory anyway, so I guess I'll need to fortify and install #Arch soon...

But I understand that is a lot harder and requires talking to an API somewhere. Routes can be encoded into the maps themselves, even if they need updating after changes are made.
