My novel research continues. This time I am learning how to make flatbread on a campfire. I will leave this series with my brain twice the size it was when I started 😆
One of my friends said that one of the sentences I wrote in my novel sounded a little unnatural. "David Attenborough wouldn't say that," he said.
Now my head can't stop narrating the events in my story like it's a nature documentary.

The visual style and the worldbuilding were a great inspiration for me while learning how to draw. It always makes me happy to find people who worked on them while scrolling social media :D

I finished chapter 10 of The Snake Queen today. I originally planned it to make the final chapter, but I restructured some things in the story, and I will write two more!

@Daojoan@mastodon.social I once tried Threads for a while, and people in there didn't comment, quote post, or even screenshot the post they were commenting on. They would just describe it without pinging anyone and then get angry at their description 😆
Then I would scroll a bit more and see someone describing that description and proceed to be outraged. Rinse and repeat. None of these people even talked to each other...

@cmccullough@polymaths.social I had the same thought once when I disabled my adblocker on one site and saw that it was covered in ads in about 95%. Including ones that had fleeing close buttons that you had to chase around the page as well as some almost full screen videos with autoplay.
