Denn gehandelt werden muss bereits jetzt. Ich tu mich außerdem in dem Sinn mit dem Begriff "Brückentechnologie" schwer, da die Wahl der passenden Technologie immer auch vom Einsatzfeld abhängig ist. Weshalb es in manchen Fällen auch weiter Verbrennungstechnologien diverser Art geben wird, wenn (!) Alternativen ungeeignet sind.

@fae2535 @Gargron If the quoted post isn't any indicator: The problem isn't the requirement to provide a digital wallet/ID solution. The problem is HOW our german government wants to solve it and WHICH services they want to exclusively use for this. The outcome is that anyone can be blocked from access by order from a foreign (namely the US) government on a whim. Anyone jailbreaking their phone will have no access. Anyone using android forks is one business decision apart from being locked out.

Which means, those considered "not deserving" get the unfiltered (!) vitriol. Which is why Alice considers this behavior as someone's "true" opinion on women, bc it's where one thinks they don't need to hold back. You can extend this to other hierarchies as well: Wealth/poverty, race, religion, sexual/gender norms, behavior towards authority figures, etc...

Diese 30 Jahre sind wertvolle Zeit die nicht verschwendet gehören. Es geht mir um nichts anderes. Dass Verfechter der Kernfusion sich in jede Diskussion drücken müssen, sobald auch nur das Wort fällt, unabhängig vom Kontext wundert mich nicht, bleibt aber irre nervig.

It's also a generalization, but I think the audience should be able to assess for themselves if (and how far) this statement applies to them specifically, as well. *btw: "somewhat" is doing varying amounts of stretchy legwork here, depending on who you ask and where you look. Just mentioning this for clarification.

Für Abschiebungen. Ich sehe es durchaus kommen, dass irgendwann über die Taliban Attentate beauftragt werden.

Und das sage ich als jemand, der in der Chemie arbeitet. Wenn das fällt, haben wir nicht viel, dass den Schaden auffangen kann.

Es hätte auch über jede andere Technologie sein können, die derzeit als "DIE Zukunft" angepriesen wird mit der impliziten Aufforderung absolut alles (!) darauf zu setzen. Das kannst du vielleicht als Glücksspieler machen, aber weder als Investor oder Bank (außer vielleicht wenn du den Verlust bereits einkalkuliert hast) und vor allem nicht als Politiker.

Wenn Minister und Politiker die Hände in den Schoß legen und darauf wetten, dass bald die eierlegende Wollmilchsau um die Ecke kommt und alles ohne eigenes Zutun löst. (*hust* Der Markt regelt *hust*).

(Denn man mag es nicht glauben, aber in manchen Gegenden wird aufgrund mangelnder Erschließung und Versorgung weiterhin auf Tiere als Transportmittel gesetzt. Selbst das gibt es noch.).

Hm, I should make it a habit, to just stay in bed when I'm having a cold. I guess, this would make recovery much easier.
(EDIT: It's not that I do workouts or anything like that. But sitting at my desk is not the same as laying in bed, tucked under a blanket with something to drink and a unresistable need to do something else than that.)

Dass man gerade nach solchen Attentaten argwöhnisch gegenüber solcher Rhetorik ist, solltest du hoffentlich verstehen.

@StefanMuenz@social.vivaldi.net Wenn ich mir die militärischen Aktionen der USA Besuch so anschaue, muss man jedoch immer die Möglichkeit beachten, dass dieser Pazifismus nur ein Scheinpazifismus ist. Wozu "Weltpolizei", sein wollen, wenn man die Armee stattdessen für Expansion, Annektion und Ausbeutung nutzen kann. Ich halte das nicht mal für einen Widerspruch zum Text: Dann endet es im Erhalt des "guten Alten" durch Rückkehr zum Imperialismus. "Wir waren mal wer" ist schließlich auch Nostalgie.

Fürs Ergebnis spielt es schlicht keine Rolle (ergo "egal"), welche Ideologie hinter dem Attentat steckt. Es spielt im Umgang natürlich insoweit eine Rolle, dass Prävention etc. entsprechend angepasst werden muss.

Ich habe allein auf meiner Arbeit mindestens eine Person, der dieses Attentat insgeheim freuen wird und er ist deutschiger Deutscher, der sich auf Whatsapp als KI generierter Nordischer Krieger präsentiert. Er kann gleich zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen: Ausländerfeindlichkeit ausleben und es als Solidarität verkaufen.

Watching the Starfox Direct, and it really feels like, after 30 years, Nintendo finally figured out how to properly modernize the series.

Having played none of the Starfox Games before, this is one I actually want to play.

Graphics-wise, it's a FAR departure from what we're used to before. Nintendo isn't known to mean this much into realism before. And it feels like the "same story" but told with mass effect visuals and melodrama. This might actually work out for this game.

Bei mir in Brühl war letztes Jahr ein rechtspopulistischer Youtuber, der Leuten mit dummen Fragen auf die Nerven ging und dann mit Kumpels ein "Attentat von Linksextremen" gegen sich inszeniert hat. Über solche Fälle wird meist nur abstrakt in Statistiken besprochen... aber wehe die Person ist Muslim, Migrant oder gar beides. Dann ist das Geraune plötzlich groß.

Aber das hat erstmal nichts mit innenpolitischen Angelegenheiten zu tun. Vor allem nicht, wenn die Person (so wie es gerade rumgeht) bereits in Gewahrsam war (soviel zu "Appeasement" und soviel zu unserer Gefahrenüberwachung). Sollte sich herausstellen, dass die Person von einer islamistischen Regierung beauftragt worden war, dann können wir gern nochmal darüber quatschen.

Ich hab deinen Sermon wegen der Ausdrucksweise und meiner Interpretation als "Dogwhistle" in die Nähe derer eingeordnet, die sowas tun. Das ist aber nirgendwo meine eigene Ansicht. Das ist eigentlich offensichtlich, wenn man zuerst liest, was geschrieben steht, anstatt einen Text gezielt nach Schlagwörtern zu scannen und den Rest die Imagination machen zu lassen.
