@exocomics You can't expect to wield supreme power just 'cause some feathery tart dropped a crown on you!

@vickriarts@mastodon.social Welcome to Mastodon and the Fediverse! You should make a #Introduction post to find your people here. Since we dont have an algorithm here, using hashtags (like you have) is important for helping your posts get seen We also like alt text when sharing images, your posts will perform better when you add some image descriptions. You can use #Alt4Me to request others do it for you if youre not able to. Here's some #Alt4You to help you get started. You can edit your post to add these, or edit them or write your own: [1] Digital art of Gangle and Zooble hugging each other in a warm embrace, like in episode 8, but now floating against a blue starry background. Both have their eyes closed, Gangle is making an UwU face [2] Pomni holding Jax from behind. Both are sitting on the floor. Pomni is nervously looking backwards while Jax is staring straight ahead with a defeated expression. This is not a loving hug. Its a small red-and-yellow striped room, seen through a door frame, with a narrow band a light and harsh shadows, making the scene feel slightly claustrophobic [3] Ragatha, small in the top left corner of the dark red background. She has a sad expression and is holding a knife. A giant shadow is extending from her, filling the rest of the image, in the shape of her mother as seen her torture scene, with two white eyes glowing ominously [4] Kinger and Queenie having a pillow fight. Feathers are flying and they both look very happy. Queenie's is raise up high, like she's about to hit Kinger with it

because the bots over here have horribly wrong alt text

I personally follow @xkcdbot@indieweb.social, which uses human-written alt text. (Though, of course, this does come at the cost of needing to wait for the human to show up and write alt text. As of writing, today's is still the placeholder)

RE: https://goo.dgirl.gay/@moonfaced/statuses/01KNQ5YY28PAVY1RTKK2FR2B8W This is a fascinating list! A lot of these make sense, but some like USPO or whatever "ICSYV" is are surprising

@pankiimz@denden.world #Alt4You Digital art of Jax and Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus. Jax is holding his head in his hand, a single tear visible at the edge of his clenched eye. Pomni is hugging him tightly from behind, also looking distraught with eyes open and shaky pupils. The background is off-yellow, bordered in orange and yellow, and splattered with dried red splotches resembling splashed water color paint

@arisummerland@beige.party @Chrishallbeck@mastodon.social The first person I told about aphantasia looked into it, came back, and told me he actually had hyperphantasia. That was for both of us learning about each other!

@Chrishallbeck@mastodon.social As an #aphantasia-haver myself, I can confirm that the rest of the world is indeed all completely crazy and hallucinating 🙂

@nixCraft "No news is good news!"

@Rusty Not familiar with SOMA here, but that's my prevailing theory on their situation, too. And the live forever reasoning is stronger now with Scratch. Also fits with Gangle's motif of getting hit by a truck. Ragatha's mother was obviously physically abusive, maybe she went too far? For people like Kinger/Queenie, they could've been """visiting""" as guests? Jax had the flashes of driving at night through a residential/wooded area. Maybe an animal jumped out and went through the windshield? Or he hit a person and is hiding from the consequences? (Though doesnt seem to fit as well) I dont know where Zooble or Pomni would fit into this idea. As for how the episode itself could go, I have no clue. It feels like we just experienced this universe's version of a heat death. I don't know how they possibly continue from this. My only ideas right now are that either Bubble reconstitutes himself from the remains of Caine to take over or that the gang can conjour up a new terminal for Kinger to rebuild a new basic AI to take the reigns so that they can... ????

@Unixbigot@aus.social I was confused about Easter leading into winter before remembering this is a fantasy story set in the mythical land of "Australia"

@socksandpuppets@mastodon.art Thanks for the reminder, I still have to get around to reading the webcomic. I discovered it through the animated pilot and it remains among my favorite pilots
