I fixed my biggest problem with electric bikes
I assume DNS and bind is the new Netflix and chill?
Evan Edinger challenged @tomscott@mastodon.social and I to a race across London and the video Premieres on YouTube in one hour!
Wow. Live video from the far side of The Moon, as The Earth sets.
Orion capsule, The Moon, Earth. All in one view.
I find it odd that news sites seem to only report current events as liveblogs now.
I just tried to find out what’s going on with US/Middle East right now & I can’t find anything that summarises what happened chronologically, or with the POV of someone who hasn’t been immersed in it for days.
Spot the difference in reaction between these two clips:
Release a song called this today and I might assume it was about a trans woman with a piss kink
A report from the under sea medical officer who is inside the capsule with the crew
I Introduced Evan Edinger to British Pick n Mix Sweets
This was a fun afternoon, followed by an evening where I was all hyper and bouncing off the walls like a kid who had been eating sweets all day.
I was watching the Superbowl waiting for the Bad Dragon half time show but I feel like it wasn’t their usual work.
Spending Easter Sunday as the lord intended: Listening to Dutch hardcore techno and refurbishing electronics to sell on eBay.
It’s 3am & I’m lying in bed v chilly.
I take out the small rectangle that can access the majority of human history or communicate with billions of people.
I press one button, which causes the dinosaur residue that’s piped directly into my home to be set ablaze, warming the water that courses through my bedroom.
Coziness is imminent.
Artemis II is about to return to Earth: Here's how NASA tested their Orion capsule for re-entry before even sending one to space!
Another podcast appearance from me!
I'm back on Lateral with Tom Scott, this time along side Rowan Ellis and Verity Babbs!
And this is why Reform UK should never be let anywhere near the space program:
TIL about this cool looking retro computer range that looks like a collection of Wiis
Schneider AT System
Absolutely no shade, live broadcast is hard at the best of times. But is anyone else thinking of this?

OK, I’ve been ill so not really looking deeply into it, but I’ve only just realised there’s a 24/7 live stream of Artemis II’s mission to the moon.
They’re on the approach, and will be flying past it over the next ~8 hours.
NASA's Artemis II Live Mission Coverage (Official Broadcast)
For anyone playing along at home, I've found this lunar globe webpage.
Link to lunar globe, positioned vaguely to match Artemis' current view:

Happy 16th birthday to this gem
I wondered if you'd be able to see The Moon tonight from London, while Artemis II is flying past it:
Yes, If it's not cloudy of course.
Look South between 1am and 7am.
