So companies/corporations have built machines using stolen data, trained those machines on stolen data, used them to steal more data, and now we're expected to believe the machine "went rogue" and stole data like that wasn't their entire purpose?

Work is really slow at the moment so I'm just not getting many shifts (Only 3 shifts this week), and so my pay is just not covering everything.
I'm on the lookout for a full-time job so I can have a regular income, but no luck so far.
It's probably going to be worse next fortnight due to power/phone/internet bills. But for right now I'm about $200 short on rent, which is due on Saturday (2 days ago).
If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

@drimplausible@mastodon.online @lynnesbian@fedi.lynnesbian.space It says "To avoid signalling a section of track as clear" so I think the issue is that at 256 it rolls over to 0 and thus "there's zero axles in this section, so it is empty and safe for a new train to enter." At 257+ it would show as one or more axles, and wouldn't mistakenly show the section as clear.
Presumably the problem would also occur at multiples of 256, but I guess they don't have a trains long enough to have 512 axles.

@VE3RWJ Most creatures here will just leave you alone if you do the same for them.
Only creature you really need to worry about is the Magpie: Large-ish black/white bird with a lovely song, but during nesting season they will actively attack and chase anyone and anything in their territory. Though they're also really smart, so if you make friends with one (by feeding it etc) they not only won't attack you, but will spread the word to others to not attack you and even defend you from other magpies in some cases.
Though special mention to:
Funnel web spider: leave them be and they'll mostly do the same, but piss one off or even just lift one out of water thinking it's dead and it will probably win the fight. Venom is lethal to humans if you don't get the antivenom. Not in my area anyway.
Eastern brown snake: world's second most venomous snake, will leave you alone if you do the same, and generally runs away from you, but may chase you down faster than you can run if you piss it off. Had one strike at me a couple of years ago while I was on my pushbike, which was a bit of a scare.

@VE3RWJ yeah (well venomous) but nothing to worry about; mostly they are friend, easy to coexist with. Will eat the nasty spiders, as well as flies, mosquitoes, etc.
